Peace lives in the perfection of organic structures. In Nature’s living colors. In the harmonious coexistence of light and shadow and their many interactions.

These works explore the perfection of these organic elements, and experiment with abstractions of light and color and the shift in perspective that occur when viewing the natural world through an experimental lens. I achieve these abstractions naturally by capturing unique reflections of light or the unexpected forms that light and color combine to create when photographed with macro and super-macro lenses. Abstractions are created manually by photographing through pieces of glass, crystal, and a variety of colored lenses. Thematically, each of these photographs portrays an intimate moment, when the Earth revealed something of herself to a loving witness.
